HYDROELECTRIC POWER STATIONS OF KARELIA: PERSPECTIVES OF DEVELOPMENT AND IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT

The article elaborates on hydroelectric power stations of the Republic of Karelia. The impact of hydroelectric power stations on the environment is considered. Some measures of environmental control and protection are proposed
