Статья посвящена анализу арабской прессы восточной части арабскогомиравначале ХХв., впериодначалаосвобожденияотосманского владычества. Авторы рассматривают пробуждающуюся прессу Ливана, Сирии, Палестины и Ирака и ее вклад в активизацию журналистской деятельности в регионе.

The article deals with the early 20th century Arab press of the Eastern part of the Arab World during the beginning of liberation from the Ottoman rule. The authors study the awakening of the press in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine and Iraq and its contribution to revitalization of journalism in the region.
