Key issues of sustainable development: crisis of civilization and its consequences

The process of evolution of humanity faces worsening contradictions between the growing needs and the ability of the biosphere to provide. This contradiction has led to ecological and social crisis that threatens our civilization. To resolve this contradiction, at the end of the twentieth century there was born the key concept of modern ecology: the concept of sustainable development. It seeks to create wealth without causing damage to the environment and reduce inequalities.
