MOTIVES BEHIND THE INVOLVEMENT OF WORLD POWERS IN THE PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS IN AFRICA

This topic is chosen to address the hidden reasons behind the interest of world powers to help combat crisis and wars in Africa region. The point of focus is how this world powers or formal colonial masters to these African region, are seen as co-conspirators of the insurgencies and wars in this region so as to wave off the world's concentration on their fraudulent deals in these regions and focus on the crisis which is on ground. These world powers are interested in Africa's mineral resources, but they tend to provide peaceful dialogs, ammunitions, military troops through United Nations peacekeeping missions in the guise of trying to create peace and stability in the affected regions.
