The use of ointments, creams and gels can reduce the likelihood of side effects, which occur frequently in oral and injectable use. The development of a combined preparation venotonic action with dry herbal extract with venotonic action in the form of the gel is one of the promising area. Dry extracts of the arnica foliosa and dry extract of aesculus hippocastanum received in the Department of Chemistry and Centre of Phytochemistry Pharmaceutical Technology All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants are used as an object of study.
