Статья посвящена проблемам правового регулирования деятельности судебной власти в отраслевом законодательстве и необходимости его изменения. Исследование основано на анализе научных трудов российских авторов, федерального и регионального законодательства. Институт мировых судей в России сравнен с муниципальными судами США.

Municipal courts in Russia: what it is supposed to be

The article deals with the problems of legal regulation of the judiciary in the sectoral legislation and the need to change it. The study is based on the analysis of scientific works of Russian scientists and the federal and regional legislation. The institute of Magistrates in Russia is compared with the municipal courts of the United States.
