Investigation of transversal sections and pigmental granulations of hair from people of different nationalities

Data on the form of transversal sections and pattern of pigmental granulations of hair obtained from the inhabitants of some countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America are presented. These hair characteristics were compared to those of hair obtained from the USSR citizens (Russian, Buelorussian, Ukrainian, Georgian, Azerbaijanian people). Possibility of race identification of hair using set of morphological characteristics is stressed.
