Влияние кислот, применяемых для химического пилинга, на лейкоциты человека

Effect of acids used for chemical peeling on human white blood cells

Acids used for chemical peeling in dermal beauty care, such as trichloroacetic, carbolic, and glycolic acids, were compared by the parameters of toxicity and on the basis of evaluation of the functional status of human leuko- cytes. The findings indicate the existence of different mechanisms through which acids affect the skin and may serve as the basis for scientific substantiation of a chemical peeling procedure.
