The morbiditi by breast cancer in the north ossetia in 1991-2004 years

The morbidity by breast cancer (BC) in the North Ossetia-Alania from 1991 year is increasing - 28,3 in 1991 and 63,3 to 2004 year on 100 000 of women population. Especially high indices of the morbidity by BC are marked during last three years. Women from ecologically unfavorable regions become ill more often. Late diagnostics of the disease define unfavorable prognosis. The mortality during 1999-2004 years remain high. For the decreasing of the BC morbidity level a republican program is worked out, which includes screening of pretumorous and tumorous diseases of breast cancer.
