The aim of this work is to compare E2 level in blood and in endometrial tissue with IGF-1 concentration in patients with endometrial hyperplasia. 62 patients (50 women with glandule-cystic and 12 women with adenomatous endometrial hyperplasia) have been examined. The reterioration of the clinical situation (from glandule-cystic to adenomatous hyperplasia) was accompanied by the decrease of E2 level in endometrial tissue and by increase of IGF-1 in blood. Increase role of mitogenic grouth factor in pathogenesis of endometrial hyperplasia may become the foundation of autonomy of endometrial tissue. The results obtained from this study can facilitate the choice of the more effective methods of treatment.
