In his article the author analyzes the interpretations of history of liberation movement in Russia (60-90 years, XIX century), that are common in contemporary scientific and educative literature. The author found out some positive sides in works of contemporary investigators and text-books' writers, that use mostly the pluralistic methodology and last science researches. In the article there is also a tendency to show? That the part of the authors tries to reject the objective interpretation of revolution movement and to picture its participants as the only ones to blame in tragic events of the begin- ning of the XX century.
