Institutionalization concept in German theoretical sociology (second part of XX cent.)

The present article deals with the institutionalization concepts elaborated by Berger and Luckmann, Luhmann within their theories of society. This allows us to sequentially analyze their theoretical and methodological approaches to the studies of the institutionalization process in different spheres of social reality religion, economy, policy, science, etc. The main purpose of the article is to expose the theoretic-methodological foundations of these two concepts, reveal their convergent propositions, perspectives and possibilities in their further application to investigation of traditional religious ideologies.
