COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF PEAT MICROBIOLOGICAL COMPOSITION IN THE TULA REGION

The quantitative microbial composition of peats in the Tula region was studied. In this study, the number of microorganisms in 2 samples of black-alder peat from the Istochek bog at a depth of 0-50 cm and 50-100 cm was counted. The largest number of bacteria was observed in black-alder lowland peat at a depth of 0-50 cm which is due to the rich composition of plant residues in the upper layers of peat with a high content of macroand microelements.
