Sociolinguistic analysis of terms in business discourse

The article analyzes the terminology in the sphere of business discourse, which is a system of linguistic and lexical techniques and terms necessary for the effective construction of the speech process in business communication. Terms in business discourse are investigated from the point of view of sociolinguistic analysis on the example of standard documents involved in Russian and English business discourse. The main distinguishing characteristics of business discourse as such, as well as lexical and grammatical features of terminology in business discourse are listed.
