Structural and semantic features of non-equivalent lexis in English economic discourse

There is a growing interest in one of the most dynamically developing spheres of a public life, economy, and new concepts are constantly emerging in this area. However, the picture of the world does not coincide among representatives of different countries, thus the problem of equivalence of terms in the English and Russian languages often arises. Each language is, without a doubt, unique and nationally specific. Non-equivalent lexis is one of the characteristics that reflects uniqueness of a language. The objective of this paper is to consider structural and semantic features of non-equivalent lexis in English economic discourse.
