In modern conditions of dynamically developing mutual perception of cultural paradigms and dialogue between East and West, research is especially relevant, shedding light on the possible formation and development of new models of coexistence of peoples with different historical experience and mentality. Russian Russian and Chinese symbolism borrowed by Valey Pereleshin, comprehended in the context of Russian poetry and passed through the prism of life experience, is one of such generalizing elements in the dialogue of Chinese and Russian cultures. In the presented work, we use a comparative typological method using the principles of receptive aesthetics and comparative studies. The system of images in V. Pereleshin’s poetry reflects the specifics of the mentality of the Chinese nation, the idea of the picture of the world and the place of man in the universe.
