WEED CONTROL USING POST-EMERGENCE HERBICIDES AND PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS WITH DIFFERENT MECHANISMS OF ACTION IN WINTER WHEAT CULTIVATION

Herbicide chemicals are usually suggested for controling the weed population in crop production systems. However, the regular spray of single active ingredients with similar mode of actions, resulted to weed species that are herbicide resistant, and wheat lodging, especialyl when plant growth regulators are not added in the treatment. This study tested the effect of applying more that one active ingredients; by using different mode of actions to suppress weeds in winter wheat cultivation. Our research illusttrated positive results and recommended considerations of this model in the future weed control strategies
