В статье рассматриваются вопросы перехода в эпоху Петра I от симфонии властей к абсолютной монархии. Раскрываются исторические предпосылки симфонии властей в Московском царстве. Показывается западное влияние на петровские преобразования во время создания святейшего Правительствующего Синода. Согласно положениям «Духовного Регламента», в Россию переносились основные протестантские принципы взаимоотношений Церкви и государства, в котором роль Церкви сводилась к одному из винтиков государственной бюрократической машины.

Peter I: from the symphony of authorities to absolutism “I bequeath to you the Kingdom” (Luke 22:29)

The article deals with the issues of transition in the era of Peter the Great from a symphony of authorities to an absolute monarchy. The historical background of the symphony of authorities in the Muscovite kingdom is revealed. The Western influence on Peter's transformations during the creation of the Holy Governing Synod is shown. According to the provisions of the “Spiritual Regulations”, the main Protestant principles of relations between the Church and the state were transferred to Russia, in which the role of the Church was reduced to one of the cogs in the state bureaucratic machine.
