SAFETY HAZARDS AND CONCERNS IN ENGINEERING SCIENCES

Safety hazards are ubiquitous in every field of engineering, and it is essential to understand the types of hazards and the solutions available to address them. This review provides an overview of the types of safety hazards in engineering sciences, including physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psychosocial hazards. It explores the causes of these hazards and the potential solutions available to address them. By implementing appropriate safety measures such as personal protective equipment, proper training, and work-place design, we can create a safe and healthy work environment for everyone involved in the engineering sciences. This paper provides a valuable resource for engineers, employers, and policymakers seeking to promote safety and health in the workplace. The industry requires to be stratifically supported via various systematized structures and machines. Safety hazards are an unavoid-able by-product of this field, and they pose a risk to the safety of staff, engineers employed on-site, researchers and the public. There exist different types of safety hazards that are prevalent in engineering sciences which need to be stratifically mitigated.
