ANTIBIOTIC USE IN FOOD ANIMAL AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANT BACTERIA

Antibiotic resistance is a major issue that has been steadily increasing and spreading over the last decade. This review will briefly discuss the impact of antibiotic residues in food products, the mechanism of development of antibiotic resistance, and the transmission of resistance.
