Intellectual property in the orbit of economic analysis: Some aspects

This study reveals that intellectual property and its protection were in the focus of economists who tried to explain the behavior of companies that were not particularly willing to spend money on the development of innovations, although such behavior was recognized as socially desired. Thus, the author presents a study of the economization of intellectual property in the current information society that provides a basis for the economy to gain increasing momentum and multidirectional tendencies to use the traditional mechanism for the protection of intellectual rights and the free use of innovative developments.
