Matrix-analytical approach to analysis of a single-server retrial queue with non-reliable removable server

In the paper, we deal with M/M/1 queue with linear repeated requests and non-reliable removable server. The server switches off each time the system becomes empty and switches on accordingly to an N-policy (when the number of customers in the system reaches level N). The stationary state distribution for the system considered is obtained via the matrix-analytical approach. ©2010 IEEE.
