ПОЛИТИЧЕСКАЯ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТЬ И ПОЛИТИЧЕСКИЙ ПОРТРЕТ КВАМЕ НКРУМЫ

В статье рассматривается политическая деятельность лидера национально-освободительного движения и первого президента Ганы Кваме Нкрумы. Автор анализирует направления внешней политики страны в первые годы независимости с учетом политических взглядов и черт К. Нкрумы. Обосновывается положение, что переменчивость внешнеполитического курса первого президента Ганы обусловлена стремлением к отстаиванию интересов страны и Африки в целом любой ценой, в том числе посредством дистанцирования от межблокового противостояния и лавирования между СССР и США.

POLITICAL ACTIVITY AND POLITICAL PORTRAIT OF KWAME NKRUMAH

In the article the political activity of the leader of the national liberation movement and the first President of Ghana Kwame Nkrumah is considered. The author analyzes the foreign policy directions of the country in the first years of independence with account of the political views and features of Nkrumah. The proposition that the foreign policy fickleness of the first President of Ghana was conditioned by the aspiration for the assertion of the interests of the country and Africa as a whole at any cost, including by means of distancing from interblock confrontation and maneuvering between the USSR and the USA is grounded.
