В статье освещаются вопросы, касающиеся подходов Судей Международного уголовного трибунала по бывшей Югославии к определению категории лиц, пользующихся защитой положений Женевских конвенций, при рассмотрении ими дел в отношении лиц, обвиненных в совершении серьезных нарушений Женевских конвенций.

Definition of the protected persons under the Geneva conventions in the decisions of the international criminal tribunal for the former Yugoslavia

The article is devoted to the issues of definition of the protected persons under the Geneva conventions as applied be the Judges of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia when considering cases against persons accused of having committed grave breaches of the Geneva conventions.
