The influence of the intensity of mining industries development upon the global climate change

Huge amounts of rock mass extracted from the subsoil during exploration of mineral reserves are exposed to lowtemperature oxidation at the land surface. During this process the atmospheric oxygen is consumed, while carbon dioxide and a number of other gases are produced that contribute to the global warming of the climate.
