Studies of Baroreflex Regulation of Hemodynamics: The Results Depend on the Methods

Studies of hemodynamic regulation in general and baroreflective regulation in particular have been the focus of attention of a large number of doctors and mathematicians engaged in modeling physiological and pathological processes for many decades. In this polemical article, the authors propose their own methodological approach, which, in their opinion, allows us to expand the tools of researchers and advance in understanding the processes of regulation of hemodynamics. The application of this approach is illustrated by the results of the examination of specific patients and comments on these results. © 2024 IEEE.
