ГИПОКСИЯ ТКАНЕЙ ПАРОДОНТА ПРИ ХРОНИЧЕСКОМ ПАРОДОНТИТЕ

Хронический пародонтит (ХП) является самой распространенной патологией пародонта, которая приводит к нарушению функций зубочелюстной системы. Цель исследования. Выявить корреляцию уровня гипоксии тканей пародонта и тяжести течения хронического пародонтита. Материалы. Обследованы 84 пациента с ХП. Всем производили оценку состояния тканей пародонта по индексам: РМА, API, SBI. Для изучения гипоксии исследовали функциональную активность эритроцитов с помощью спектроскопии. Все пациенты обеих групп получали противовоспалительную терапию. Во второй группе (n=42) больные дополнительно в течение 14 дней получали мексикор по 1 капсуле (100 мг) 3 раза в сутки. Результаты. Традиционная терапия ХП не приводила к стойкой ремиссии. У пациентов 2 группы после проведения противовоспалительной и антиоксидантной терапии регистрировалось повышение активности эритроцитов на 22,5% (р <0,05) которая сопряжена с тяжестью ХП (r=0,87).

PERIODONTAL TISSUE HYPOXIA IN CHRONIC PERIODONTITIS

Chronic periodontitis (CP) is the most common periodontal pathology, which results in the dentoalveolar system dysfunction. Purpose of the Study: Determination of the correlation of the periodontal tissues hypoxia level and the chronic periodontitis severity. Materials: 84 patients with CP were examined. All of them were evaluated concerning their periodontal tissue condition based on the following indices: PMA, API, and SBI. Spectroscopy was used in studying hypoxia in order to evaluate the erythrocyte functional activity. All the patients of the both groups received antiinflammatory therapy. The patients of the second group (n = 42), additionally ingested 1 capsule of Mexicor (100 mg) TID for 14 days. Results: Traditional CP therapy did not bring in the stable remission. The erythrocyte activity in Group 2 patients increased by 22.5% (p <0.05) after an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant therapy, which is associated with the CP severity (r=0.87). Conclusions: CP-associated periodontal tissue changes are accompanied by suppression of the erythrocyte functional activity and progression of hypoxia, which requires correction.
