The Information Potential of Regions

An overview of the latest changes in the information space of Russia and its regions is presented. Information inequality is discussed in the 'culture-periphery' perspective. Recommendations on the use of indices of comparative analysis of a region's information potential are given. The material may be of use to media leaders and managers overseeing the information policy in the regions.
