Rise in pigs selection effectiveness by use genes FSHB and ESR

A lot of genes - candidates are revealed for markearing of useful attributes of pigs. They include QTL, responsible for body height and thickness pork fat, quality of meat and reproduction. The influence of a polymorphism of the gene - candidate ESR on pigs litter size reliably fixed. We investigated polymorphism of gene FSHB and its influences on parameters of reproduction of pigs. As a result of researches the tendency of connection of gene FSHB with increased litter size and increased milkness of sows is revealed. Also we made the comparative analysis of efficiency of selections' use of markers ESR, FSHB, both ESR and FSHB simultaneously. It was established, that for animals of large white breed and a population urzhumskaya breeds of pigs in realization of selection on all parameters of reproduction it is expedient to use two DNA of marker FSHB and ESR.
