All processes and life in general has been changing since COVID-19 has come to our life. Managers in big and small companies have started looking for new ways of effective product development. At this moment many managers have turned to agile, or agile development, as a flexible approach to development that is often used in small teams. The purpose of this subject field review is to systematize and analyze the effectiveness of Agile-approach in the process of product development in comparison with traditional one, especially at times of distant work because of COVID-19. To do this, a subject literature review was conducted using articles from Scopus. Using inclusion and exclusion criteria, 30 articles were chosen and included in the review although 2453 articles on the topic were found in the period of time from 2010 to 2021. The articles chosen reflect the current situation with Agile-approach, its usage by small and big companies. Many articles under research describe collaboration of Agile-approach with traditional one that has recently widely been spread among small and big enterprises, and subsequent appearance of hybrid approach especially within large-scale enterprises.
