EFFECT OF 2,4-DINITROPHENOL, ADRYAMYCIN AND METATHREXATE ON THE PROLIFERATIVE ACTIVITY OF PANCREATIC-CELLS IN THE RAT FETUS INVITRO

Experiments carried out on 495 surviving fragments of the pancreas from 97 fetuses of white mongrel rats have shown that the combination of dinitrophenol with cytostatic drugs has different effects on the cell proliferative activity depending on the kind of the cytostatic drug, concentration of dinitrophenol in the medium and on the initial state of the investigated cells. The effect of drugs may grow (with metathrexate), fall (with adryamycin) or even inversed (in several cases with metathrexate).
