В статье анализируется опыт «догоняющей» модернизации в независимых странах Африки – результаты развития на основе заимствований достижений развитых стран и разрушения традиционных структур. Подчеркнуты трудности и пределы этого типа развития, связанные с необходимостью совмещения традиций и современности, модернизации и сохранения стабильности в обществе.

Socio-cultural Dynamics of African Countries during Post-colonial Period (crisis of the model of “catch-up” development)

The article analyzes the experience of the “catch-up” modernization in the independent countries of Africa – the results of the development on the basis of borrowing the achievements of advanced countries and destroying the traditional structures. Difficulties and limits of this type of development are emphasized, which are connected with the need to combine traditions and modern trends, modernization and preservation of stability in society.
