РАЗВИТИЕ ИЛИ АНТИ-РАЗВИТИЕ? АФРИКАНСКИЙ ВЫЗОВ СОВРЕМЕННОЙ ТЕОРИИ РАЗВИТИЯ (пересмотр постулатов теории модернизации в африканистике)

В статье рассматриваются вопросы теории модернизации в контексте трансформации послеколониальной Африки, движения африканского общества от традиционного к современному. Отмечено, что негативные оценки потенциаларазвития африканских стран никак не согласуются с очевидными проявлениями социальной энергии, культурного творчества, расширяющегося неформального сектора экономики и феномена структурного (эволюционного?) сдвига при сохранении примерно того же уровня сложности социального целого.

Development or Anti-development? African Challenge to Modern Development Theory

The article discusses the questions of modernization theory in the context of the transformation of post-colonial Africa and the movement of African society from traditional to modern one. It notes that the negative assessments of the development potential of African countries are not in line with the evident manifestations of social energy, cultural creative work, the expanding informal sector of the economy, and the phenomenon of structural (evolutionary?) shift with the preservation of the social entity of similar complexity.
