First, we will describe the ways of addressing people which are common in the Iberian and Peruvian variants of Spanish, as well as some peculiarities of both variants, compared to the ways of communicating in Russian. Second, our special attention will be focused on the relevant process of simplifying the language. This problem is especially acute for modern Spanish in Spain, which tends to acquire profanities and slang expressions into everyday speech. In conclusion, we will demonstrate our concern about recent tendencies in the development of modern languages and express a desire to preserve the purity and beauty of the literary Spanish - the language of Miguel Cervantes.
