«Ковчег завета» как интерпретация священного в современной европейской архитектуре

В статье рассматривается трактовка «священного» на примере западноевропейской современной культовой архитектуры. Первой материализованной идеей священного стал образ «Ковчега Завета» у ветхозаветных иудеев, который в своем окончательном варианте был материализован в монументальном в храме Соломона. Храм же подвел человечество к пониманию сути алтаря, той священнической части, перед которой трепетали верующие всех эпох. В разные исторические эпохи «Ковчег» находил свое неизменное выражение в храмовой архитектуре. В эпоху постмодерна изменилась концепция храма. Новое понимание христианской идеи привело к кардинальному переосмыслению его форм. Цель статьи: рассмотреть проблематику европейского христианского храма в плоскости современности в его стилевых выражениях. Актуальность обозначается важностью существования самой храмовой архитектуры, опыт которой окажется полезным и для России.

Ark of the test" as an interpretation sacred in modern European architecture

The article discusses the interpretation of the “sacred” as an example of Western European modern religious architecture. The first materialized idea of the sacred was the image of the "Ark of the Covenant" among the Old Testament Jews, which in its final version was materialized in the monumental in the temple of Solomon. The temple, however, led mankind to an understanding of the essence of the altar, that priestly part before which believers of all ages trembled. In different historical eras, the "Ark" found its constant expression in temple architecture. In the postmodern era, the concept of the temple changed. A new understanding of the Christian idea led to a cardinal rethinking of its forms. Purpose of the article: to consider the problems of the European Christian temple in the plane of modernity in its style expressions. Relevance is indicated by the importance of the existence of temple architecture itself, whose experience will be useful for Russia.
