Статья посвящена вопросам мотивации студентов нелингвистических вузовов к углубленному изучению иностранных языков посредством досуговой деятельности. Профессиональные студенческие объединения (ПСО) являются перспективной основой для реализации такой задачи, так как на их базе возможны разнообразные формы и подходы к изучению иностранного языка и культуры стран изучаемого языка. Так же, ПСО помогают осуществлять поликультурное воспитание будущих молодых специалистов.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES AND MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION IN THE FRAMEWORK OF LEISURE ACTIVITIES BASED ON PSA

The article is devoted to the problem of student motivation in non-linguistic higher education institutions in studying foreign languages in depth through leisure activities. Professional student associations (PSA) are a promising basis for the implementation of this task, since they can be used for various forms and approaches to the study of a foreign language and the culture of the countries of the language being studied. Also, PSAs help to carry out multicultural education of future young professionals.
