Information Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation and the US State Department Regarding the Conflict in Syria in 2014—2018: a Comparative Analysis

The article examines the features of the information policy of the foreign ministry of the Russian Federation and the State Department of the United States in relation to participation in the conflict in Syria. In particular, it compares the main emphases of Russia’s information policy in the period from 2015 to 2018, the time of active hostilities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the SAR, and the United States, which designated the period from 2014 to 2018 as the time of their combat participation in this country. © 2022, Rossiiskaya Akademiya Nauk, Institut Istorii (Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of General Hist).
