The Distribution Model of Social and Psychological Properties on a Dynamic Set of Agents

In relation to organizational structures of a hierarchical type, the adoption of personnel decisions substantially depends on the individual perception of each other by persons occupying positions in the hierarchy. Within the framework of the concept of mutual perception, the distribution of social and psychological properties among many people is a social “fabric” of the organization, on the basis of which the processes of initiation, development, and implementation of personnel decisions are implemented. The weak measurability of the values of the social and psychological properties of persons, as well as individual aspects of their perceptions of each other, requires the use of simulation methods. The means of the simulation model can reproduce the interaction of persons (agents) in a hierarchy on a large volume of different initial conditions, namely the socio-psychological characteristics inherent in persons. The aim of the study is to develop a tool on the basis of which the construction of such a model is possible. The presented model reproduces the process of formation of social and psychological properties of many agents (populations) in the process of their life cycle. Agent properties are the inherited and educated attitudes reflecting the perception of reality phenomena and personality traits. The model allows generating mass values of indicators in dynamics, observing their distribution over the entire set of agents (populations), building histograms of the distributions of various indicators, visualizing certain attributes of a particular subset of agents. The procedures built into the code of the model are intended for modifications that specify the relationships between individual properties and the mechanisms of their formation. Thus, the developed scientific tool has a scientific novelty and is intended for further research of the processes of making personnel decisions in hierarchical structures by developing a model that takes into account the structural properties of the hierarchy and the presence of external factors influencing it.
