Purpose: The purpose of the article is to analyze the foreign trade compatibility between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union in export-import operations with agricultural products and offer possible recommendations on increasing the complementarity of the EAEU economies. Design/Methodology/Approach: The author considers regional integration as one of the ways for the group's member countries to defend their national and integration interests in front of the outside world. The conformity assessment of foreign trade profiles is carried out on the basis of the trade complementarity index, which shows how the agricultural export structure of one country corresponds to the agricultural import structure of another. It is calculated based on the value indicators of agricultural exports and imports. Findings: It is shown that the degree of integration of economic relations in the EAEU in the field of agricultural trade in general is at a fairly high level, while there are opportunities to increase mutual benefits in some pairs for some divisions. Originality/Value: Despite a considerable amount of literature devoted to the problems of external and mutual trade of the EAEU and, in particular, using index methods, there is currently little research on complementarity between integration countries in the field of agriculture.
