МЕМОРИАЛЫ СОВЕТСКИМ ВОИНАМ В КОНТЕКСТЕ СОВРЕМЕННОГО ГЕОПОЛИТИЧЕСКОГО ПРОТИВОСТОЯНИЯ РОССИИ И ЗАПАДА

Целью данной статьи является выявление причин и этапов изменения отношения в европейских странах к вопросу сохранения мемориалов советским воинам. В публикации охарактеризованы форматы государственной политики в различных странах - от бережного отношения и сохранения в Белоруссии, Германии, Австрии, Нидерландах, Норвегии до переноса и демонтажа в Польше, Чехии, на Украине. Автор приходит к выводу, что «войны памяти», включающие механизмы уничтожения памяти о подвиге Красной Армии в годы Второй мировой войны через уничтожение мемориалов, являются продолжением геополитического противостояния России и Запада

The purpose of this article is to identify the reasons and stages of changing attitudes in European countries towards the issue of preserving memorials to Soviet soldiers. The publication describes the formats of state policy in various countries - from careful attitude and preservation in Belarus, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Norway to transfer and dismantling in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine. The author comes to the conclusion that "wars of memory", which include mechanisms for destroying the memory of the heroic deeds of the Red Army during the Second World War through the destruction of memorials, are a continuation of the geopolitical confrontation between Russia and the West
