DYMAMICS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE

The aims of the research are to get acquainted with the concept of electric vehicles and their history, to compare electric motors with gas engines, to find out some prospects of electric vehicles, to study the situation with using electric transport in Russia and in the world and, finally, make a conclusion about the advantages and disadvantages of using electric transport nowadays. The main problem of the research is to find out if electric vehicles really do no harm to the environment and if people can stop using gas engines right now. Today the problem is very actual because practically all people use different ways of transport every day. The research is based on bibliographical and statistical review and uses some data collected from other research. So as a result, there is a very twofold opinion about the problem. People really can stop using gas engines, but that would not be very soon.
