Over the past decade, the Russian helicopter industry, which has been characterized by steady growth, has been confronted with difficulties caused by unstable political situation, fierce competition in world markets, rapid development and introduction of innovative technologies in this sector of the Russian economy. In order to maintain their position in the global market and increase the competitiveness of their products, Russian companies must adapt production to the changing demand for helicopters and pay increased attention to supporting the technological support of production with the latest materials, equipment and components of domestic production. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current state of the enterprises of the domestic helicopter industry on the example of the holding "Helicopters of Russia". To achieve this, the econometric package EViews10 was used and linear and nonlinear models were built, allowing to evaluate the existing and promising demand for Russian helicopters. As a result of the analysis of the models, factors that have a significant impact on the production of Russian helicopters were identified.
