Application of kantbp program of finite element method in the coupled-channels calculations for heavy-ion fusion reactions

We apply a new calculation scheme of a finite element method and upgraded program KANTBP in the coupled-channels calculations for heavyion fusion reactions. We diagonalize the matrix of close coupled effective potentials to formulate ingoing wave boundary conditions in point within a pocket of the potential well with a true set of thresholds. Efficiency of the proposed approach is shown by successfully described experimental data for the sub-barrier and above-barrier fusion cross section of some reaction systems. © 2020 Jagellonian University.
