Experience in using systemic retinoids in the treatment of acne in adolescents with comorbid skin diseases

Acne is one of the most common diseases with which young men and girls turn to dermatologists and cosmetologists. Often acne is combined with such comorbid conditions, such as seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and others. The approach to their treatment includes the use of systemic and topical means, as well as therapeutic and preventive cosmetics, dieting, cosmetic procedures, correction of concomitant pathology. We present the clinical experience of systemic retinoid isotretinoin Lidose in the treatment of acne in adolescents with comorbid skin diseases. The results of our observations indicate the safety and good tolerability of this drug and allow recommending it as a drug of choice for the treatment of severe acne, including in patients with comorbid skin diseases. © 2020, Media Sphera Publishing Group.
