Axially Symmetric Configuration in the Skyrme Gauge Model

The structure of axially symmetric fields in the skyrme model with a gauge field is studied. The Hamiltonian and topological charge are constructed in the corresponding invariant class. A discrete internal group of the model is indicated, which allows to simplify the energy functional significantly. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
