Военные отношения двух держав являются важной составляющей современных международных отношений, остаются залогом сохранения мира и безопасности на планете. В начале XXI в., в условиях формирования многополярного мира, происходит обострение геополитической конкуренции ведущих держав современного мира, что непосредственно влияет и определяет характер российско-американских отношений в военной сфере.

MILITARY RELATIONS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE USA IN 2001-2017

The article discusses the relationship between the Russian Federation and the United States in the military field in 2001-2017. The military relations of the two powers are an important component of modern international relations and remain the key to maintaining peace and security on the planet. At the beginning of the XXI century, in the conditions of the formation of a multipolar world, the geopolitical competition of the leading powers of the modern world intensifies, which directly affects and determines the nature of Russian-American relations in the military sphere.
