Рецензия на книгу В.В. Карпова "Генералиссимус"

В данной статье рассматривается материал, предложенный В.В. Карповым в его книге «Генералиссимус». Отмечено, что по большей части автору удалось выстроить конструктивный диалог с читателями, что в немалой степени способствует восприятию приводимой им аргументации. Простой и непринужденный стиль изложения располагает к принятию многих суждений и выводов, предлагаемых автором, на веру. Однако один эпизод, описанный автором и представленный в качестве документально подтвержденного, вызывает серьезные вопросы. Не оспаривая заслуги автора в проделанной аналитической и художественной работе, а также не умаляя достоинства самой книги, авторы данной статьи проводят свой реферативно-рецензионный анализ на изучении данного эпизода. Сделан выводы о том, что «Генералиссимус» представляет собой действительно солидное историко-биографическое исследование, оставляющее за каждый отдельным читателем право самостоятельно сформировать собственное мнение о личности И.В. Сталина и его вкладе в укрепление и развитие отечественной государственности.

Review of the book "Generalissimo" by V.V. Karpov

This article deals with the material proposed by V.V. Karpo in his book "Generalissimo". It is noted that for the most part the author managed to build a constructive dialogue with readers, which greatly contributes to the perception of the arguments given by him. Simple and easy style of presentation disposes to acceptation at face value of many judgments and conclusions proposed by the author. However, one episode described by the author and presented as documented, raises serious questions. The book is divided into sections, each of which includes thematic paragraphs, the names of which, in general, correspond to a particular historical period or an important event. Without challenging the merits of the author in the analytical and artistic work, as well as without detracting from the dignity of the book, the authors of this article conduct their abstract and review analysis on the study of this episode. It is concluded that "Generalissimo" is a really solid historical and biographical research, which reserves for readers the right to form their own opinion about the personality of Stalin and his contribution to the strengthening and development of the domestic state.
