The article discusses the principles of systematization and features of the presentation of educational material in teaching Spanish-speaking students the lexical norms of the modern Russian literary language in the "Culture of Scientific and Business Speech" course. It is based on specific research methods, namely: a comparative analysis of the lexical system of the Russian and Spanish languages within the designated topic; semantic-stylistic analysis of the internationalism words, actively used in scientific and official business speech; analysis of typical interference errors in different types of speech activity (reading, speaking and writing) of foreign students who are native Spanish speakers. In particular, the meanings and usage of Russian internationalism words (terms, general scientific vocabulary, clerical) in the educational, scientific and official business text are analyzed in comparison with the Spanish vocabulary. The main idea is that the study of lexical norms should be aimed at overcoming interference at the level of words and text, and therefore the leading role of the linguistic-oriented technique, as well as the significance of translation as one of the teaching tools, is emphasized.
