The history of the creation and activities of the Organization of American States

Created at the end of the 19th century, the Organization of American States is one of the oldest international organizations with a rich history of activity. The article discusses the background and history of the organization, analyzes the key institutional and functional transformations in the Organization of American States. The publication examines contradictions faced by Member States in the process of multilateral interaction.
