MOTOR TRANSPORT AS THE MAIN SOURCE OF ATMOSPHERIC AIR POLLUTION IN ASTANA

Motor transport in the course of its work emits into the environment oxides of carbon and sulfur, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, as well as heavy metals. All of them negatively affect the natural environment and human health. Studying the metropolitan cities of the world, one can note the following regularity: emissions from stationary sources are annually minimized to 25% or less, due to the use of the latest cleaning technologies, and from mobile sources increase due to the growth of the number of vehicles to 90% of the total emissions in the city.
